You asked, Rihanna answered. We paired up with our experts to refine and perfect our shade range. After doing extensive consumer testing and rigorous research, we refreshed our shade range to give y’all the most inclusive 50 shades yet.

We figured out that it takes the right balance of tone and texture to make matte foundation work on every skin type. We obsessed over custom pigment levels to capture your truest tones with a soft matte finish that’s just right—not too matte and not too shiny. The results? A comfortable longwear formula that lets skin look like skin. Made for all people to love.

Be sure to prep skin with Fenty Skin Hydra Vizor SPF 30 Moisturizer before applying foundation, especially if your skin is dry. After moisturizing, prep skin with Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer to smooth the look of pores and absorb shine, for smoother foundation application and extended makeup wear.
Always shake before use to activate. When testing shades, remember to let matte foundations dry completely to find your perfect match.
For full coverage: Apply 1-2 pumps of Pro Filt’r Foundation on the back of your hand. Using the Full-Bodied Foundation Brush 110, dot product onto the center of your face and blend outward.
For medium, customizable coverage: Apply 1 pump of Pro Filt’r Foundation to the back of your hand. Using a damp Precision Makeup Sponge 100, begin applying product at the center of your face, or wherever coverage is desired, pressing foundation into skin and blending outward.
